Jim was born in Washington, DC and raised in Garrett County.  He is a Graduate of Southern High School and Bridgewater College.  He has over 30 years of radio experience.  His first job was weekends at the 'old' WMSG.  He is a member of the local 'Maryland You Are Beautiful' committee and Emcee for the annual fund raising banquet of the Mt. Top Crisis Pregnancy Center.  He is a long time musician and married to his number one fan, Bonita, since 1991.
